In my previous post I left out the fact that the director of Heavenly Creatures would be handed tremendous faith and half a billion dollars to make three Lord of the Rings films for the studio that distributed Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Pink Flamingos. He would then go onto make the decidely non-1997 film...

This is going to be awesome. Now maybe when he's done with Old Bones (or whatever its called), he can erase the stain from my memory that was Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlon's God$#lla. I can't even bring myself to dirty the legacy of the one, true "King of the Monsters."

Dude, I saw Gozilla: Final Wars in Japan. THAT will erase the Devlin/Emmerich Godzilla from your mind. Dude, it is THE best Godzilla film ever made. So good. He fight a revamped 2004 version of ALL the old enemies INCLUDING THE DEVLIN/EMMERICH GODZILLA. If I remember it's a sort battle.
