It used to be that if I got up early enough on weekends (unlikely) one channel would still play the early-nineties cartoons I was really attatched to.. X-men, Spiderman, The Tick, Gargoyles, etc. It's mostly anime now, but if I'm lucky I can still catch The Tick.

That's good to hear. I know many in my generation thought your generation didn't have cartoons at all on Saturday mornings which was a totaly crime since we had buttloads. Three networks ran cartoons from 6:30am to 11:00 every Satruday, that's a lot of cartoons. Those are good cartoons too! I used to wake up at 6:30 for the first cartoon of the day on NBC, Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends. Where the fuck was Firestar in X3? They got to everyone else.

I have a lot more fond memories of live-action kid's shows than I do cartoon ones, since that's most of what I got to watch on Nick as a wee child. Although, I do remember being a little kid watching "Tales From The Crypt" gleefully. (The fascination with horror started early, I guess)

I dunno about Firestar. But I'm still waiting for Gambit!
